Ø	2026-2027 Chapter Officers: Roll Call and Members   ·         President- Jonathan Coates ·         VP Scholarship & Service- Hailey McKelvey ·         VP Leadership & Fellowship- Tedra McRae ·         Secretary- ·         Historian- Tank Manning ·         Sgt. Ø	New Member and Scholarship Strategy: ·         New members who wish to fill officers' positions available ·         https://www.alphanusigmahgtc.org/chapter-officer-duties ·         Anyone interested in holding an officer position, please email advisors ·         Jonathan and Hailey have collaborated on Scholarship Strategy ·         Want to provide an awareness approach to students on campuses ·         Working on creating a digital footprint for Alpha Nu Sigma at HGTC ·         Possibly having a PTK officer/member present during HGTC College Days at local area high schools to promote the possibility of becoming a PTK member and the benefits it offers; provide a flyer/handout for students
Ø	PTK Edge and Portal ·         Officers requested by Jonathan to complete at least 1 Edge course ·         Explain the online portal to members: PTK Connect ·         Help navigate scholarship opportunities; idea of holding a Scholarship Workshop for members
Ø	Carolinas Region Service Project ·         Update members on Community engagement and what the Carolina Region Service Project entails ·         Regional Service Project: “From One Heart to Another; Spreading the Love in the Carolinas Through Service” ·         Students participated in this project at the Regional Convention this past March, however, chapters may participate in other service options throughout the year—Service Ideas: ·         Make cards for seniors in nursing homes; collect socks for the homeless; volunteer at an animal shelter; canned food drive for food banks; back to school donation drive; adopt a park/street to clean; adopt a family during the holidays, etc. ·         Tank is researching ways to help veterans in our area ·         Service idea—Boys & Girls Club ·         Kimberly Meadows inquired  to Jonathan about donating her pontoon boat regarding Those Who Serve/Capt. Rick, a non-profit for veterans
Ø	Carolinas Region HiA Project ·         Details will be provided at the July Chapter meeting
Ø	Upcoming Scheduled Events: ·         Beach Sweep/Cookout – Saturday, September 19, 2026. 8:30a-Noon at Myrtle Beach State Park ·         Member Kimberly Meadows-Owner of local coffee shop—volunteered to provide coffee for those attending Beach Sweep ·         Carolinas Regional Convention (spring)—March 5-7, 2026; York Technical College ·         Service Event: Birds of Prey (fall/spring)—Pending	,
