September Chapter Meeting Notes

·         Welcome: New Member Orientation PowerPoint presentation

·         Present: Heather, Paulette, Leila, Clayton, Kasey, Dusty, Cody, Shanise, Kelis

·         Welcome Back Week  11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

o   Tuesday, September 16—Conway—Clayton, Cody, Shanise, Emma

o   Wednesday, September 17—Grand Strand—Kelis  

o   Thursday, September 18—Georgetown—Kelis, Kasey

o   Will need volunteers to work the PTK table on each campus

·         Carolinas Region Service Project—Helping Paws, Healing Hearts

o   Will incorporate Birds of Prey as our project

·         Community Service Projects

·         Beach Sweep—Saturday, September 20^th 8:45 AM Myrtle Beach State Park; look for us by Shelter B2

o   Begins at 9a-11a  **Arrive about 8:45a  *Free admission

o   Fellowshipping by cookout afterward

o   Advisors will bring hot dogs/buns/bottled water/condiments

o   Begins at 8:30a-4p  **Free admission/2 Flight shows

o   Show up ~15 minutes early

o   Advisors will bring bread/peanut butter/jelly/chips/bottled water

o   Bring your own food/snack/drink/cooler if preferred
