June 2025 Chapter Meeting Notes

During this meeting:

• Chapter officers were established for the 2025-2026 year. Chapter meetings this year will be virtual. Meetings/Events information will be posted once officers meet to determine day/time for this year's meetings/events.

• We will be participating in the Carolinas Region Service Project--"Helping Paws, Healing Hearts: Supporting Shelters, One Tail at a Time". The How/When/Where is TBD and will be posted once our officers set the details.

• We will be participating in our community service project--Beach Sweep. This will be on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 8:45am - 11:00am at Myrtle Beach State Park (free admission). There will be a picnic (11am-Noonish) after we clean up the beach. Advisors will bring hot dogs/buns/condiments/water. There will be a sign up sheet posted at a later date so advisors have a head count for food/drinks and for those attending to let us know what item(s) regarding food they will be bringing for the picnic.

• We will be participating in our community service project--Birds of Prey. This will be on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 8:30am - 4:00pm at the Birds of Prey Center (free admission) located in Awendaw, SC (about 1 hour 45 minute drive). There will be a sign up sheet posted at a later date so advisors have a head count of those attending.
